My love for storytelling, studying human behavior, insatiable curiosity and life's beautiful twists and turns have landed me in my dream career as the Founder of the Write Your Own Story Company. The Write Your Own Story Co’s Mission is to encourage women to live the life they dream about.We want women to block out the societal “should’s” and the inner voices of “Why me?” and “Am I enough?” so they can pick up the pen and write their own stories of their lives.
I am the podcast host of the Write Your Own Story Podcast, where I am having the time of my life interviewing women business owners, community leaders, and game changers as well as some of my dearest friends. We talk through successes, their struggles, their perseverance, what failure has taught them, how they show up in this world, and what sets their heart on fire. It’s these stories that make us realize we’re not alone, motivate us to take a closer look at our own dreams. So often we end up chatting about all things funny, honest, hard, and silly like how to show up for you life but also not lose your sh#t, how to be a good friend, infertility, balance, pills, diet culture, mom life and so much more!
The podcast has proven to be down to earth, real, honest, funny and inspiring. We’re just a group of (powerful) gals all just gabbing over a cup of coffee or a glass (glasses) of wine. I am also deeply passionate about helping women start and run businesses, especially in 20 hours a week or less. So many of us want to be many things in life, and I'm a firm believer in both financial independence for women as well as building work around your life, not your life around your work.
That's why, as a business coach and mentor, I created the Female Founders Academy, which are self paced digital courses that teach women how to start and run businesses in 20 hours a week or less. These courses cover topics like:
Prior to The Write Your Own Story Company, I was a seasoned marketing professional with 18 years of experience on the corporate and agency sides of advertising and marketing. I also love working with startups and helping them build a solid foundation.
I also have a passion for building brands and have founded and actively ran a successful 501(c)3 non-profit as well as founded and ran a successful e-commerce stationery & gift shop focused on women’s empowerment.
